In the beginning

Thus begins another adventure into blog land. This time, I will be adventuring into the domain of storytelling. How is storytelling used to influence a message or information? What kinds of storytelling are most effective (e.g., visual, through words, sounds) and what is to say that "telling" a story inherently the same across all media?

Well, these are the initial questions I pose to myself, without having formally started the class and reading all about it. Here we go!
